Y you ask?
March had been only 18mm until yesterday and today's rain has fallen,
41 mm in 35 hours...
just around midnight, it was monsoon like...
Quiet day I think..
Planted out some seedlings the other day so was worried they may be heavy rain damage but no the light feed yesterday is standing most up.
Compost not that sodden.
I took the risk of being a bit too early but...
plenty of life with best catkins ever on our wee weeping tree and growth aplenty on other stuff.
Hoping any frost yet to come is short and sweet.

In the '70s 3 day weeks, I worked 7 days 12 hours per day....
exemption for some work.
Just wondering out loud.
You started lugging everything needed if you need to evacuate due to flooding?
All but died down by midnight here, windy but little rain. But at some point the heavens opened again whilst it were dark.
Feet up, catching up on the cycling...
You still confusing yer neighbours, going out feeding yer plants in the rain?
You think the risk will pay off at harvest time.
Yer wee weeping tree weeping in the rain?

Time to rest, look back and say "they were the days".
Some jobs just couldn't be fitted into a three day week.

You've upset them...
It'll save you watering the garden.
It has stopped...for now

The joke about my town of birth is that we all were born with webbed feet...
it was quackers.....

Winging its way from behind the curtain of iron....

Bad enough our own road potholes etc, wrong side of road, no thanks.
We've had light rain for the last 3/4 of an hour.

A bit of precipitation just after the night of Mid.
