What wood did you use @Cuchilo ?

The home owner is a bit of a woodworker aswell so had a very old bit of Douglas fir hidden away . The plan is to wrap it in epoxy and fibre glass before it goes on top of the roof .

Not far off , about 2' 6" .
It managed to wiggle out of the lathe while I was turning it
