good win, thought they going to do more counter attacks but he done well all the team did they kept the pace all the way through the race

yeah today was boring, guess I wont miss much tomorrow being back at school. anyone know what happened to cavendish in the lead up to todays sprint?

It was strange because there did not seem to be any great sudden shift in pace, and two Columbia riders stayed on the front even after he was dropped. I will venture a guess that he punctured and knew it was too late to be able to do anything about it so gave up. Even if he is not in top shape there was no apparent reason why he should have faltered so late in the stage.

Edit: according to Cycling News, it was indeed a flat.
