I saw my first one of these outside a shop in Cesenatico, 20 years ago.

This one had lights powered by a bottle dynamo.

I wonder what the lever at the stem does?

That allows for the bars to be rotated 180° from under the thighs to a more conventional position, as described in the patent. (Although the rider’s hands will be pretty much in the same position.)

I'm seeing an aluminium arm coming from the rear hub. Does that imply a coaster brake?
