Universal TV Remote with Subtitles button - Help needed.

I.M.I.L, the interfering mother in law (i call her that, she calls me barsteward son in law, all in good humour) needs a remote control with a subtitle button. she bought a control from Asda but no button, looking about there must be one, (a universal remote with said button) but where.

If anyone knows, can you let me know, or i have to buy her a whole new TV.

No idea, her old one went wrong and this one was from a friend of hers that had it but had lost the remote. She got it working but the remote she bought didnt have a subtitle button.

Or try the menu on the TV itself so that you can bring subtitles up through the menu.

Unfortunately in law is 150 miles away and aged 84 not the most hi tec person.

I doubt the I.M.I.L. will have a samsung galaxy S4? There's a universal infra red remote control app on that...
