Thinking about it my specialized Roubaix pros still have got quite a bit of tread on them and i like them so i probably get the same when they wear out.

Those are, based on a quick Google, at least £29 a tyre…you can get 2 Rubinos for less than the cost of 1 if you’re trying to save money

I like steel bikes and I cannot lie..
FWIW I have (IIRC) Zaffiro Pros on the Boardman and can't fault them - 1800 miles without a puncture and they seem roll well enough.

That said there seems to be quite a lot of variability within Vittoria's lineup, so I'd not nec. take a good review of one model as an endorsement of another, different one.

Seem to have migrated to Rubino Pros on three of my bikes over the years.

Was riding on conti City contacts on my winter bike. A comfortable ride, but lost confidence in them when I lost the front wheel on black ice.

You’re not going to find any slick that deals with black ice without fuss.
