Read this description VERY CAREFULLY before getting in touch. Price is £275 not inlcuding postage.
Handmade Wheelsmith Tubular Carbo 38T wheelset

**THE STORY**
Bought secondhand from an ex-colleague. These had seen little use prior to my purchase and according to Strava have had ~430mi road use for me since 2022. Hyper light, super twitchy and pant-wettingly fast to ride on these have been an absolute joy to own and ride.
**THE CATCH**
As you will see in the pictures there is wear on the braking surface (mostly superficial) but the absolute steal of a price is due to the front wheel suffering a pothole impact that has damaged the rim - there is no cracks or damage to the rest of the wheel.
The surface of the rim (as indicated in the pictures) is rough. I am sure this will be fine to ride with some carbon paste applied and new tubs glued on.
Edit: My LBS, who are very cautious, said they wouldn't ride on them but i could continue to do so with conditions as above. They are distrustful of tubs in general (which is fair!) so this may be a little bit of a prejudicial take but take it as you will.
The rear wheel is immaculate and ready to ride.
**WHY I'M SELLING**
Look, tubs are fun. I get it. The absolute ball-ache for me is when you either puncture on the ride (instant ride ender, taxi please!) or you have to replace the tubs because of age or wear (hours of gluing fun to be had!).
I've had my fix of them; a couple of fun sportives as well with my 'Best Times Ever' thanks to their sheer aero profile and weightlessness. It's time for me to move back to tubeless, however.
