Ok....dilema! Hubbie and I are off to France in September. Taking car, spending most of the week around the Cote Sauvage specifically in Les Palmyre. We will then be spending a few days doing a little tour around the Somme. Anyway......long story short. We originally thought of taking Road Bikes. However, we've done some more research and the area around Les Palmyre has lots of cycle trails and forests. To be precise as the tourist website says:
'More than 40 km of cycling paths, mountain bikes and classical bikes tracks go through the forest from Saint Palais Sur Mer to La Tremblade'
So do we take the road bikes in the hope that the cycle trails are ok.....or do we take the MTBs with spare slick tyres so that we can do off roading and then slick up the MTBs for road riding?
