Northampton Massachusetts can be found about 15 miles north of Milton Keynes.
The was one very sad bobby from Northampton who went on holiday there and took all his uniform with him so he could go on patrol with the police of the American Northampton. UK coppers going for ride-alongs while on holiday in the US is common enough, but to take your own uniform is off the scale sad.

Given the British trait for emigrating / colonising etc and naming new settlements after their old ones back home, then there are loads of British town names in overseas climes.
as @Drago says, not that many in UK names after their overseas counterparts.
