Two dilemmas in one day

What a day , good exam results for my daughter .

Anyway the dilemmas are .

1 A pr of my favourite shorts zip finally gave up the ghost after a minimum of 15 years service , so number 1 dilemma is can I carry on wearing them whilst cycling although the zip won't do up ?

2 Whilst at my mum's she showed me a Terry's chocolate orange that is a bit out of date , I could not let her bin it but will I be safe to eat it ?

The orange should be okay to eat. Heat bloom being your biggest problem.

Why not stitch the shorts partway. Making any opening less visible.

Do the teeth line up with the zipper at the bottom?

Melted chocolate leaking out of the shorts will certainly get glances, but not admiring.

1) Really depends on whether you go 'Commando' or not.

2) Throw caution to the wind and scoff the thing in one hedonistic sitting. Top tip - pour double cream over it first - yum!
