Happy New Year ! One of my colleagues has booked the day off to have some 'festivities and a big meal'. She is Chinese but they only really celebrate it for her mum, who originated in Hong Kong. I'm going to miss going into Manchester to see the celebrations this year - we missed it last year too as we thought we'd better stay away from crowded areas.
