Purchased some continental city for my MTB ready for winter. Got 26 x 1.5 and they came with free conty inner tubes 1.75 - 2.2.

They are a b*tch to fit! It took me over an hour to just fit the front one, needing lots of prodding and tatting with the inner tube to even get it inside the tyre. I just know I'm going to get pinch punctures the first time I ride it.

I've asked CRC if they are the right tubes and they've said that I shouldn't have 'any trouble' fitting them.

I've been fitting tyres and tubes for 20 years and never had this sort of problem. Anyone got any ideas?

They're the wrong size - they've even got it printed on the tube! I think you're being fobbed off.
