1" quill stem

I am looking for a long 1" quill stem for an old Raleigh 20 racer project I have undertaken, the original stem is in great condition but is too small to take the bars I want to put on the bike, I need a longer stem too, anyone know the best place to get one? or have a link to somewhere that shows me how to make one??

what size bars are you looking to fit? I have one in the shed that we can maybe swap as I am looking for a shorter one.

If you are trying to fit a modern oversize (31.8mm) bar to a quill stem, then you may struggle to find one. Either way, there are quill stems all over ebay.
