I have had 10 days off the bike apart from running a few errands for my wife. I have instead been having a wonderful time at home with my kids and lovely wife. My days have been filled with trips to the park, train rides to the sea and catching up with too many jobs I have put off that I can mention.

To be honest I thought I would have missed it more but haven't, that's until I got my bike out an hour ago to pump the tyres, Mickle the chain etc. Now I can't wait for 5am and my 17 miles into work. I would prefer a dry morning but if it isn't I can't wait to get the pedals spinning and dodge the wildlife on the cycle path. Happy pedaling everyone..

I know the feeling. Haven't missed it until this afternoon when I fitted a rack, now I want to go out on a ride.

I've been too busy drinking beer, absinthe, Unicum, plum flavoured napalm like spirits, taking in the sights of three European capitols and eating cake to miss being on my bike for the past week or so.

No regrets. Cycling isn't the centre of my universe.

Well it's now officially dark at 5am and I had forgotten to check my lights and yes batteries were flat in my front light. Otherwise it was nice to be back on the bike

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Just the opposite, second week of shut down for me and no holiday as swmbo couldnt get the same time off so i have been getting 2-3 good rides a week in which for me is very rare as normally i just do my commute and the odd weekend ride .
I am under orders from the whole family not to do jobs around the house .
