14mm BMX axles

Can I remove the 3/8"-10mm diameter axles from some BMX front wheels I have acquired and convert them to 14 mm diameter axles as a straight swap out ?

I know the cones and nuts will be specific to axle diameter but I'm unsure about bearing race diameters and ball bearing sizes.

I don't know for certain, but with such a marked difference in the size of the axles, I would be surprised if they were interchangeable.
