This is my Apollo IV from 1982.
Apollo is an Australian company, they did make some bikes in Australia but the higher end ones like this were made by Kuwahara in Japan.
It has the original Shimano 600 Arabesque groupset with 6 speed cassette.
I fitted newly built wheels from another project and swap between drop or flat bars. The frame is too small for me so it doesn't get ridden much, I just think it's a beautiful bike to look at, especially the groupset, so it has it's place.

I usually prefer drop bars on any bike that will have 'em but that looks really pretty with the flat bars - nice one! 👍

Thankyou- I thought by keeping the downtube shifters the flat bars would look less "busy" and I'd keep the groupset together. I think it worked well.

After realising how little I ride this bike I thought I'd have a crack at making it more comfortable.
This morning I fitted a set of 30mm riser bars and the original stem back on to the bike and slid the seat back on the rails- looks like I'll be riding it a bit more now.
