Need for steeds
just finished this off today. Been having a few problems with chain slipping. Put new chain on but still slipping, then I noticed chain was 2 links too long. Small adjustment to the rear mech and all is well.

Need to get some brake hoods and may swap the cheapo bar tape with leather covers when I get round to making them.

Should have had full 105 gear but didn't have a full set so went retro and put 105 golden arrow, mechs, gear levers and cranks on. Running sprints and tubs on 105 hubs and mavic Mach 2 CDs.

First sub 10kg steel bike :-)

Snap!
My mate now uses the bike, the 105 group set still works well.

I had a Quadra. It was stolen out of my car in 1990. Do you have an alibi for the night in question?
It was a lovely bike despite the bio pace chain rings.
I take it after all these years yours has been resprayed, cos it looks a little different.
