Due to a change in my shift pattern I now commute some Sundays, today being the first one.
Now my commute consists mostly of a Seven mile stretch of a rural B road.
Today for the first time in ages I was passed by another cyclist, who had obviously put a lot of effort into passing me half way up a long gradual incline.
As I was slowly starting to catch him up ( think the effort put into catching me was taking it toll ) Anyway I noticed that he kept looking over his shoulder at me , then all of a sudden he just turns around in the road and heads back the way he had come !
What was that all about I thought to myself?
Did he just want to pass me as fast as possible? Or did he just want to add me to his list of scalps?
Shame as I was going to put him to the test over the next couple of miles (boys will be boys but it would have been fun)
