First one while I was out on the bike. Minding my own business coming up to a red traffic light to turn right. I was about 50 yards from it when some kn0b in a red car going the other way shouts "Get out of the road" at me. WFT ! I wasn't even going the same way.

Later, I was in the car coming to a mini-roundabout T-junction. I was turning right (and signaling) and a cyclist was coming towards me turning left (but not signaling). He didn't even slow down as I turned and missed the front of my car by a foot. If I hadn't noticed that he wasn't slowing and taken my foot off the accelerator I would have hit him square on. I hooted and he indicated that he was a fan of Gareth Hunt's coffee ads. No wonder motorist loose their temper at times. Fortunately if he keeps cycling like that, I am unlikely to see him again.

I had a tool overtake me as I was nearing one of them mini islands in the road centre that has a florescent bollard thing.. he had a massive caravan and actually shaved me as I touched the back side of it.

My buddy who was behind caught up and said 'what the f*** was he doing?' so i didnt even have to waste my breath!

You were in the middle of the road, cyclists have no business being in the middle of the road and must always cycle on the left. This means that cyclists should never turn right (unless on a roundabout, keeping to the extreme left at all times) but should always travel in either a straight line or an anti-clockwise loop. Clockwise travel is banned according to the highway code and the geneva convention.

I find that catching up with them at lights and enlightening them as to the wisdom of "garnishing with hilarity" a 17 stone sprinter via the medium of a fatal beating affords great levels of satisfaction.

I don't know what it is but there seems to be epidemic of rage from drivers going the completely opposite direction of you.

If I read it right the cyclist turning left in the original post had priority and although its infuriating (not signaling), they didn't actually do much wrong?

No, I was on the roundabout and going right. Therefore I had priority. We were both on the same road and the 3rd leg of the T was to my right. He failed to give way to vehicles coming from his right.

Well it shows there are good and bad on both sides, typical of all things in life I suppose.

The shouting out of cars at cyclists is a growing problem, its even worse when they come from behind you actually leaning right out of the window as they pass shouting, or firing a water pistol. Very unnerveing when you doing 25 mph.

For some reason there are those who hate cyclists. I was doing a driving job recently, and I had a front seat passenger, as we drove along there was a cyclist in front as we approached a pinch point in the road. I slowed down to allow the cyclists to pass through, my passenger just blurted out ' I f**king hate cyclists'.

Unfortunately due to the type of job it was I was unable to pass comment. But these are the kind of people we are up against. Mind as I said some cyclists do nothing to help the situation.

Cars, shouting at cyclists? You've lost me there.

Or do you mean 'the shouting out of people from cars at cyclists'?
