Hi looking for new tyres for my nasca fuego, currently fitted with schwalbe marathon racers (bit of a swine to fit properly).
I quite fancy the Schwalbe Durano Tyre or the continental grand prix
cant fit anything bigger than 1.5" as the forks don't have the clearance.

Any recommendations or anything to avoid

Thanks

Kojaks if you ride on frozen roads. The grip is fair, but mine split badly after giving good service up until then.

Lots of miles logged with Duranos. Keep them topped up (mine tend towards pinch punctures below 80psi) and they'll run for miles. I got 10k+ out my last set. They're not as tight as the racers.

Slightly off topic, but its worth learning the technique of pushing the bead into the centre of the rim before trying to remove / refit a tyre. If you thought the racers were bad, try a marathon plus! Done wrong, its a thumb breaker.
