2008 Dahon Jack

Hi,

I need a folding Bike that is strong, can cope with a lot, and can ride on all terrains. Is the 2008 Dahon Jack a good Bike? I'm not too Knowledgeable on Bikes so I would really appreciate your help. Its being sold on Ebay for £219.99 brand new, do you think its worth it?

It is a good bike but no suspension so bear that in mind off road, it could also use more gears but at that price you can upgrade to a triple on the front, all the cable channels are already there for the front derailleur.

I have a 2005 Matrix-V with, I think, the same frame but 24 speeds. I'd not want to do a full on downhill descent on it. Not because there is anything wrong with the frame, but it does have a hinge and Dahon say it shouldn't be used for jumps.
I used it for road and gentle off road tracks and it worked very well. Sadly it's now for sale as I've been banned from two wheels for medical reasons.
