The 2025 Euros in Drôme and Ardèche kicks off tomorrow (Wed 1/10) with all the ITTs
Mixed relays on Thursday

Remco is riding the TT, the only World's road race entrant to attempt the quick turnaround, he wants to be the holder of the full set of international ITT jerseys

The Junior mixed relay should be interesting - it seems only Latvia have entered team to compete against the French

Friday: Women's u23 RR, both Jnr RRs
Saturday: Men's u23 and Women Elite RRs
Sunday: Men's Elite RR

The TT is mainly flat - other than a km of 5% at the finish, and aside from the women's Jnr (12km) all will ride the same 24km course

The road races are from Privas to Guilherand-Granges for the elite classes (different number of laps) and Guilherand-Granges - Guilherand-Granges for the u23s and Jnrs with very varied configurations. The Elite routes are pretty lumpy, the men's has 3401m of climbing, lots of iit at 9%

Here's the men's 202km route:

Does this offer an opportunity for the mixed relay world champs (Aus? I've forgotten already) to show off their WC jerseys or is it all national kit?

Edit: Of course it doesn't. They're Australian. Not European. Duh.

But if someone European had won it ... would it?

You beat me to the correction!
I believe the Aussie team are due to show off their WC kit at the 2025 Wollongong High School parents egg and spoon race in November...

And a load more questions too. Does the full team need to be there to wear the jersey, or does it belong to the country, not the competitors?

If it is the competitors, can a team member wear the stripes when competing in a club mixed team TT event?

Has anyone seen any proper details about whether the BBC will be showing these races at all?

I've searched online, but unlike with the Worlds have been unable to find much info.

Looking to see what GBR entrants there would be, I came across this:

"The riders representing Great Britain at the UEC Road European Championships (October 1-5) will be Anna Henderson, Josh Tarling, and Ethan Hayter, who will compete only in the elite time trial events. This trio forms the entirety of the GB squad for this event, with no riders competing in the road race or any junior/U23 disciplines
Note: Great Britain has a full eight-rider team qualified for the men's road race and a six-rider team for the women's road race but will not be fielding any riders in those events, according to a Facebook post by Cycling Weekly"

It's only Southern France as well, I suspect for a lot of those riders who live down in that kind of area, it might even qualify as a local race for them - bonkers non?

Is Vingegaard just doing this chipper or is he going to ride Lombardia too?

Vingegaard is riding the road race but not the TT, and isn't currently expected to ride Lombardia, though I don't think he's categorically ruled it out yet.

Meanwhile, the TT looks pretty stacked as it goes, Remco, Ganna, Tarling, plus a whole host of the usual suspects. There's a good breakdown of the course and startlist here:

TV schedule for #EuroRoad25

Only the Men/Women Elite races (ITT, Mixed Relay and RR) will be broadcasted live. No TV for the rest.

What is it with GB not sending riders (or sending hardly any) to the worlds and European champs. Is it because, generally, they're all a bit pants so it would be a waste of time?

I couldn't help but wonder why neither of the Yates brothers were in Rwanda. Adam has done well in Lombardia, so a hilly one-dayer would be in his wheelhouse.

No idea what is happening with Adam but Simon is following his now usual early October programme and is riding 4 of the Italian onedayers leading up to Lombardia.
Not sure if he was ill for the worlds but he was DNF for the Canadian races
