That's pathetic. If he'd of stop he'd of probably got 12 months, if he was also insured and things he'd of probably have gotten off. sad

How can a society have ANY faith in a judicial system when it hands down a pathetically small sentence like that. On indictment, death by dangerous driving carries a 14 year penalty. This scum DROVE OFF, and tried to conceal his involvement, all aggravating factors, that seem to have been used as mitigating factors if the lenient sentencing is anything to go by.
 
I can hear the excuses now - 'there is a shortage of space in prisons today so we should only use for dangerous or high profile criminal cases'

Shocking. A solicitor friend of mine says 'There is justice and there is law, the two rarely coincide.' Makes me wonder how such a nice woman can do the job she does tbh.

Very poor. Not stopping = 6 month max
causing death by driving while unlicensed and uninsured = 2 years max? (can't remember)
Perverting cause of justice, should of got a year or two for that alone.
