I had a very short hair cut today, 0.5 all over. As it was cold I put a decent thick hat on. When I took it off my ears had been pressed to my newly cut scalp they stuck for a few seconds before twanging off. The left (my left) one twanged off around half a second before the right. I did this a few more times and the left one twanged off roughly twice as often first than the right.

I feel this clears up the main points of the thread.
