Sooo, I was thinking that a 3D action camera could be a bit of a novelty! You can buy 3D camcorders...but these are all a few hundred quid so out of the question.
My idea, get 2 MD80s and build a mount which spaces them equally and correctly apart. (total cost, maybe £20).
Then use some sort of software to turn the two images into an actual 3D image....
Not sure how well it would actually work. I've ordered some red/blue 3d glasses from Amazon for £1.50 to watch some other videos on youtube made in this way.
