I liked the one that showed the truly enlightened nations who drive on the right side. By which I of course mean the LEFT side. And the one showing that the US and Thailand are the only countries in the world that don't give maternity leave.

Yes, apparently we drive on the left because it enables us to hold the whip in our right hand. Hence the expression 'having the whip hand' or being in control. Interesting that the whip was more important than the reins! Who'd be a horse, eh?

Well, probably yours and (possibly ) mine would be 'right up there', vernon...but as a nation, well hmmm. (It's as good a reason as any to keep the Scotsch contingent on the flag )
