I have spent the last week working in the garden of England, Located between Maidstone and Ashford. Took the bike with me as I usually do when working away. Went out on it every day including a 7 hour tour of kent yesterday.
Some lovely rural riding, I was amazed at the quality of the road surfaces on the back lanes and how traffic free they were. Mind when you live in deepest Wales I suppose most surfaces will be better than ours. How many pubs are there in Kent? I must have passed one every other mile even in the middle of nowhere.
In hampshire today but will be back in kent tomorrow for a couple of days, and Im really looking forward to it, how nice it is to plan a ride without steep climbs comming one after another. Although I think some of the gradient signs need looking at,one indicated at 20% wouldnt get a 10% at home. The North downs are a lovely place to cycle reccomend you try it sometime.
