exams that is...and completely out of steam.
Boring Italian unification tomorrow for which I am completely unprepared (well not completely, but I'll struggle) and then "dang" american politics on friday to ruin the week...but with a nice geography one after that.

I just wanted to whine, anybody else got some and going well/badly/struggling?

Keep going montage - good luck.

It's a wonderful method for examination boards to boost their revenue streams. I remain unconvinced by the 'educational arguments' for their existence other than be allowing students to demonstrate their incompetence at an early stage in their courses, they can be pulled leaving guaranteed passes to be entered for the full set of modules and boosting their pass rates which looks good for both the institutions and the government.

I'd like to see an education minister brave enough to revert back to end of year exams with limited as opposed to unlimited resits and explain the drop in standards.
