Indeed...was in car as was picking someone up from a garage in those back streets, was diverted back onto ring road (an observation not a grumble)

Already a comment at work "shouldn't have been on a bike at 65" - grrrrr

I hope he recovers quickly.

My father in law is 82 and manages a cycle and motorcycle perfectly well.

If we are all supposed to be in cotton wool at 65, a lot of us on this site don't have long to go.
