Hello all,

I have recently tried out some new mountain bike technology, and can't go back to my old '93 Kona. I have been told by a few people that it is a valuable bike, and I am trying to figure out if it is worth the hassle of posting it on ebay. Does anybody have a ballpark idea of the market for this sort of thing?

Thanks
Will

Just go on eBay, they have feature for sellers which lets you search for similar or same items that have already been sold.

Keep it
Keep it
Keep it.
The frame alone is to die for.
Beautiful bikes which would be worth the restoration. If it needs any.
Very sought after bike back when I started MTB'ing.
As with more or less all Kona's really.
Do you have a picture of it ? :becool:

Trouble is 23 years is a long time in MTB development and as the OP says it doesn't cut the mustard compared with the current crop.

Noted and good point.
I think nostalgia gets in the way for me,as it was one mean machine back when I started.
I just wonder though,if it could be brought into the 21st century, what new parts could be bolted onto it(sensibly)
Tyre clearance, size of head tube for a modern sus fork(head tube adaptor maybe ?),seat post size etc.
I know, lot to change and think about, and sourcing original build parts would be hens teeth stuff.
I can dream though ^_^:becool:
