So, I can blame you for getting soaked through during a fudging hailstone storm today then.

Thanks a bunch.

If you have mud guards on, leave them, at least til September so we don't all suffer.

I blame Thames Water, hardly any rain all year then they announce the hose pipe ban, has rained virtually everyday since:rain: .
Tuesday looks like a wet and wild day everywhere.

Ah well, I was mostly right, we had a couple of fab days (when I had to do other things) but its turned torrential in the last few days so I gave into the weather gods and refitted the guards  Contrary to the met office prediction I can almost guarantee it stops raining now!

Leaving my guards on for the Kinross Sportive next Saturday not very de rigour but based on the current weather patterns I'm going for comfort.

Last year no rain forecast, got at least 4 hours worth. It got so dark the street lights came on in Glenfrag.

Rain forecast for this year so I'm thinking of fitting a rack and taking an outboard

The reverse psychology think kinda worked today, after re-fitting the guards we got a mostly dry ride, just a few showers; it seemed like the forecasted torrential weather came in the afternoon, after we were back  Looks a similar forecast for the next few days but hopefully it improves by next Saturday and the Sportive. I'd leave my guards on all the time but the SKS narrow guards are to brittle
