A Bell should always work? So use one???

It occurred to me yesterday as I was blocked at a roundabout - my right of way obviously and at pace with clear sight lines - that a bell is probably the safest and cleanest way of 'announcing' one's presence without having to shout out loud; "oy you *unt, get the *uck out of the way and have you not seen me?"

So, rather than some loud and 'aggressive' horn or scream, why has nobody manufactured a very lout and 'bell' sound from some mini gizmo on my bike? Something that would be used once in a while so longevity of batteries not such an issue but LOUD!!!!

Cant see anybody getting aggressive at a bike bell????

Or should I get onto a mate and patent something?

I have bells on a couple of my bikes, a loud "squealer" (high pitched air-horn) on another and the squealer does the job much better.

People just ignore the bells or think it's a child's toy or something.
