Bless me CycleChat for I have sinned, it's been nearly two months since I cycled to work
A combination of Christmas, time off via my shift pattern and (mostly) a post-surgery wifey to look after have meant driving about instead of cycling.
Wifey is now nearly back to full fitness, so I am free to cycle-commute again and oooooohhhhh boy did it feel good this morning!! A tad chilly but no wind and no snow/rain to contend with. Looking forward to the rest of this block of four shifts and the rest of the year (hopefully) of two wheeled work transport

I feel brilliant getting back on the bike after one day off. let alone two months....

I really missed it whilst the icey weather was about,nearly 5 weeks off and was itching to get back to it.1st day back struggling I suddenly thought, why was I so keen to do this?
Now 3 weeks later I'm slowly getting back to where I left off last year
Only trouble is weather next week looks cold and icey again
