Here's something interesting. It was two months ago, mind but there may be one next year. I have no plans to go or anything (especially as I don't have a time machine)

I'm mainly posting this just because it's interesting and it's nice to see other people doing this.
It's a 65km ride or 25km walk from one side of the Cotentin Peninsula to the other, to see sunset at the start and sunrise at the end. With soupe à l’oignon provided in the middle of the night.
It costs 39 Euros, but that includes transport (if you're just doing it one way) and food, so it's certainly not a rip off.
I might consider it next year, but more likely à pied.
btw VTT=Mountain Biking, so most probably an off-road ride.
Casques & hi vis are obigatoire (dons tin casque)
