I hate my Blackberry and can't wait for it to be replaced. Unfortunately, they're replacing them with Windows phones rather than iPhones.
It's probably not the bosses, but the IT security folk. Like lawyers they typically do not understand the concept of tolerating a certain level of risk, but prefer to nail everything down. I find myself reminding both species that a world with zero risk tolerance is a world without any customers. You should come work at the company I collaborate with, company pays for everybody, including the cleaners, and their other halves as well as kids to stay at a wellness hotel for a long weekend, every year. Quarterly bonus and an extra months salary at the end of the year. I kid you not. It isn't in the UK though. Sounds like the boss of your company still has a thing or two to learn about how to get the best out people who work for them
My company is currently rolling out Windows phones. So my current job is to upgrade each phone to the latest Windows phone update, install Skype and Company Portal (this needs a windows account and you can only have 10 phones per account. And no you cant remove the phones from the account, but you can remove the account from the phone). This needs to be done 200 times. My Blackberry requires you to unlock it make calls but you can answer incoming calls without unlocking it.

Thats where I keep mine. Doesn't really make much difference as the tech department tend to use a common hard drive we all have access to anyway.Stuck to the monitor would have been more rebellious
Dont care, they are the ones who are paying my hourly rateSounds like a nightmare...
Are you sure you're answering the phone and suffering from mistaken identity...
