Having time on my hands over the past few days I unearthed my giant blow lamps from the chaos of the garage.

Surprise number one was the discovery that I had three blowlamps and not two.

Surprise number two was the discovery of a demijohn of white wine of 1983 vintage. It couldn't be later as it was brewed at the same time as some bottled elderberry wine which is currently masquerading as a port wine.

A tasting of a sample from the demijohn was very enjoyable. I have a gallon of strong sweet sherry.
