A quirky device to tell drivers what you think?

Probably not big enough though. Personally I'd use it to just make a statement. 'drivers don't pay road tax' or 'don't overtake me at traffic islands'.

Hmmm ... I think that's potentially a perfect little device for provoking someone into an outburst of road-rage ... personally, I prefer to ignore the @rsehole drivers of this world in the hope that they will all the more quickly go away and leave me alone!

Well, if you ignore the antisocial obnoxious drivers, they tend to just speed off and leave you alone rather than hanging around to give you grief. That's my experience anyway! I'd rather have them as far away from me as quickly as possible!

Yeah, you'll always get nutters like that, not a lot you can do will be effective. Unfortunately, they are the human equivalent of the turd in the swimming pool, although fortunately, they're few and far between!

I think the worst case of road rage towards me was when I ignored a driver, awe diddums, I must have hurt his feelings. Out the blue on a wide quiet residential street I got a close pass (no biggie I've had worse), I ignored him, that must of hurt his feelings, he then slammed on the brakes and reversed at me. I was bemused why so just ignored him again, this wound him up even more 'do you think you are hard, *****, ******, try that again and I'll ***** kill you'. This continued for half a mile even with me slowing down to let him speed off. He did eventually speed off, only to return a few moments later and he started again. He did eventually pull off about a mile and a half later, when my route took me right by the Police college, coincidence perhaps. I'm still bemused to as what I done at 10:15am on a wide quiet residential street, mistaken identity perhaps

I can see the value of something like that displaying bicycle speed, which drivers seem incapable of estimating correctly.

I was looking into getting one of the larger, red ones for the go kart, but they're not cheap... Have two solid sets of 9x9 LEDs at the sides, and use the rest to scroll a message... along the lines of "Smile, you're on camera"


Then again, it'd be more useful to keep it on "You've got a headlight out" around here
