We know enough about him and his social circles to know that he hasn't the time or opportunity to maintain parallel scams. We think that a lot of the missing money was not actually missing but had been used for other purposes until endowment policies and the like matured. We even think that the £800/month is being syphoned off a pot that could be used for immediate settlement. We will never know and further speculation on our part is pointless.
Over the years Mrs PK and I have visited the occasional casino while on holiday. Each time we have bought (say) £25 worth of chips each, with the rule that when it's gone it's gone. On every occasion one of us has lost the lot and the other doubled their money - a fun evening for free!

The final chapter........
Today I received the final installment representing full and final settlement of my stake and 'dividend'.
All in all I have enjoyed a 66% tax free rise in the value of my 'investment'.
It's not an experience that I'd like to repeat.
Today's installment is sufficient to purchase a nice Woodrup frame if I had the cojones to go down the N+1 route so soon after the Chimera.
