A580-East Lancs Rd, Haydock into Liverpool. Cycle path?

I have a meeting tomorrow in Liverpool and might cycle the 30 odd miles there. The quickest way is for me to jump onm the east lancs and cycle in. I know there's a good cycle path that runs alongside some of it but am unsure where it starts and ends?

Anyone know where it starts and ends?

I know the cycle path definitely runs from Windle up to Kirkby (I ride part of it every day I'm in work), unfortunatley not sure how far it goes either way .

I do remember looking on google maps once and I think not far after windle the cycle path turns into what looks like a small dirt path.

Thanks-weather is looking iffy so going to give it a miss. Train from Warrington I think.
