I know quite of few of us use rechargeable AA batteries to power our front lights but does anyone use rechargeable AAAs for their rear lights? I'm basically hoping to use some for my commutes so aiming for a week between charges on 90 mins a day.

I've used rechargeable AAA's - the rear light seems to last much longer between needing recharging than the front light. Plus I like the fact that I don't have to feel guilty for not using all the battery up before recharging.

I use 7day shop AAA's.
1100mah.

Last a bleedin' long time.
I recharge every 2 weeks so that is hour and halfish 4 days a week.
Will easy last 3 weeks but recharge anyway.

Also have a USB battery charger that I can plug into my pc at work to re-charge the batteries if I notice lights are becoming dimmer.

I use 3 1000mAs with a Blackburn 4.0 rear light. On about 40mins for the return, they last several weeks maybe a month.

I use Duracell rechargables, which I'm lead to believe are rebranded Eneloops. I don't often commute in the dark so I can sometimes go a month plus without having to recharge them. My 1 watt Blackburn Mars claims ~150 hours on flashing and ~50 on solid, which seems about right from my experience.

I was once looking for rechargable AAA's for my lights. After a bit of searching, I just got an 8 pack from Aldi for £3.99. They have worked splendedly and I still have 4 which havent been used since I bought them in October.

Yes, I got some and they work fine. But I've also got some from 7dayshop like the ones linked by ianrauk and they're equally fine but you don't have to wait for them to come up as specials.

IKEA's Ladda rechargeable batteries are damn good for their price. Got 8 batteries for about £6 (SALE).
