went on a short adventure ride today, damn those hills. still local but decided to go down a road or two i haven't ever done before. the sign " not suitable for HGV" shudda been a clue! but silly arse here decided to go down this little lane thinking oh maybe fewer cars. yep thats cos it was a bendy ,bloody steep hill as soon as you got round the first bend. and i frightened myself silly coming down other side at 47mph. don't think i'll be going that way again somehow (it's a bugger to get anywhere round here without going up a flippin hill)

A hilly route needed be too much of a problem so long as you have equipped yourself with suitably low gearing.

its not the gears you have but the bloody lungs trying to take all that air in whilst doing a big hill, for every up hiil there's a down hill but those up hills get me panting even in my granny gear
