At the top end of the country park there is a reminder of the mining communities that each village had.
Thrls one was Bwlfa Dare.
Nice and peaceful by the lake.

Spent a week at the country park in February. Nice little campsite attached, and a very decent mountain bike trail with pump tracks and uplift. If you want bigger things then Bike Park Wales is a few minutes drive away.
