I was just talking about this today to one of the younger employees, she'd never heard of Aberfan.
She was quite moved by it though.
I don't think I was aware of the tragedy until I was a parent myself, these things affect you much more once you have children in my opinion.
Listening to the survivors and families this week, I couldn't help but think how hard it would've been to be a parent who still had your child in the face of so much loss and grief.
