Abused!

Last night on my way to work, cycling along the coast road. I was riding my road bike in the correct road position on quite a wide road, when im passed by a Silver corsa travelling in the OPPOSITE direction. The driver is hanging out of the window hurling verbal abuse at me, I was quite bemused by it all but managed to give a quick F*** OFF in reply.

Never had the chance to get his Reg or he would certainly have been reported.

For some weird and wonderful reason, you've reminded me of the time I was hollered at by someone leaning out of the window of a car. I was around 13 and it was my teacher! He was only a young bloke, a new graduate teacher, and had probably had had a bevvie or 2 with his mates! Bemused is the word I would use to describe how I felt as well!

I guess my point is, it's not always intended as abuse. Just someone having a laugh.

Believe me it was abuse, and if I was easily intimadated I would say quite threatening.
