Acronyms (as a newbie)

Wouldn't it be good to have a section (probably a sticky at the top of beginners) where you explain to people what acronyms / terminology are/is often used on this site.

This is a nice and welcoming site, BUT, as with all different industries, trades etc, it is very easy to slip in to using 'known' terminology - which can be very off putting for newbies.

I understand what LBS stands for - Local Bike Shop

but can someone tell me what ASL refers to?

I am sure that there are plenty more to come.

ASL = Advance Stop Line

I'd definitely agree with getting a sticky for this. Took me a while to work out LBS and RLJ.

Also if anybody knows of a link to a good diagram of a bike to show parts.
