Can anyone please help me, I use to ride a lot but not for the last 15 years, and have now gone upto 20st, my problem is now I find it hard trying to ride, I have also got osteoarthritis of both knees, I have just got a new mtb 26inc QR weels 21 gears, has anyone ever put adult stabilisers on a adult bike, and were would be the best place to get them from, thank you

Not heard of adult stabilisers, but you can get trike conversion kits

Adults are in many ways like chikdren
Stabilisers are a problem as they are a prop that becomes essential, and will also lead to adverse comments
If it is just the balance, then try the old "Ballantyne" system of removing the pedals, lowering the saddle and scooting, then replace the pedals and use as rests as whilst coasting, pedalling will come naturally.

Thank you everyone, sorry I have not been back to you, I don,t know what my problem is, before my knees was bad and I was fit, I use to cycle every were, I went from Liverpool to Chester (Birkenhead tunnel) look on youtube, but now I don,t know if it is my balance that is gone or the 20st I have put on, all I do know is I cannot ride my bike and it is killing me

With your health and fitness issues, why not consider a Pedelec (E-Bike where you still have to pedal).
Had a friend who broke his leg while cycling and after a few month he tries to cycle again but it was just not possible for him so he tried and bought a Pedelec and hes been happy ever since.
