Advice on new bike please

Hi there folks.
I usually ride a Sardar treking bike a few times a week to keep fit. Clock up 400 miles a month.
Quite happy with what I have but am tempted by a Lapieere 300 that is for sale near me.
Less than 6 months old. Just had a service.Mint condition. My size. Plus pump rear bag and cheap computer for milage / speed etc.
Mine for £450.
Any views or advice please?

Ali framed bikes at that price point are much of a muchness. Probably made by Giant. Sounds like a good price, go for it!

Lappy alloy frames are very much made in France, and designed in house in Dijon, although I think their carbon frames are made in the far east IIRC. The final assembly is also done in house and each bike gets a little log book signed by the feller that put it together, and not farmed out to whoever is cheapest that week.

That said, being a previous Zesty owner I much prefer my less sexy but better performing Giant Trance X.

If you want the Lappy, it's a genuine bike with provenance (ie, provably not stolen etc) then go for it.
