Advice please - 'knowhow' selling a roadbike

I have a road bike which I bought a year ago. Thought I liked the idea but the position really doesn't suit me.

It's an Ideal (Kinesis) 52cm with Mavic Aksium wheels, Carbon Fork, Full Tiagra groupset. I have only put 400 miles on it so basically as new.

Trying to get an idea of likelihood of selling it privately and what a reasonable price might be for it. Can anyone help me?

Or does anyone know if a shop might trade in or buy of me? My local mountain bike dealer won't do but I imagine trade ins are common practice?

You'll get more if you sell it on ebay than if you trade it in!

Some bikes on ebay do seem to fetch really good prices....

This ones the same as mine, except mine has the full carbon fork. I paid £595....this one went for £520. Extraordinary
