Affiliate links

It might just be me, but if I click a link that passes through an affiliate intermediate site, chrome on mobile is failing with a certificate warning.

So this is from links in, for example, the Found a Bargain thread. My browser baulked at this link for example:

I think I have seen it a couple of times. One was one of those times where someone types Chain Reaction Cycles and the text becomes a hyperlink? Chainreaction? maybe I am misremembering that too.

I spotted it on deal links like this one from the Found a Bargain thread. It stops dead for me on this page on desktop too. I assume it is just me?

Okey Dokey, I did some research
The link you posted above can't be the one for the Chain Reaction site, my browser refuses to go there just like yours.
Maybe a typing error? It would be good if you link to the actual post in the find a bargain thread that contains the unsafe link: I went back 3 pages of the thread, clicked on all the links with no ill results.
I also checked a few links from this page on CC, all good, Chain Reaction included.

I don't think the link is unsafe, it is saying that the certificate for go.cyclechat.net isn't valid for some reason on that one link. The others work for me - e.g. wilier montegrappa at Merlin works via the skimlinks page.

The behaviour is different this morning - the link open and closes immediately. I am glad it isn't all links.

I noticed one last thing.
If I click the link from the forward it fails.
if I paste the link in my browser and hit enter, it loads....

Am I in some way unique?

Does it load correctly, I mean is it the right page?
If yes, we are cooking with gas

It loads the correct page, but only with some effort on my part. My reason for reporting is that if it is a widespread issue it might hit any potential referrals the site might generate.
