Going through a skint patch so a Brompton or Dahon is off the radar..
After downsizing premises, work are now whinging about bicycles in the passageway as a fire hazard. And pointing out that the fire hazard is caused by boxes and rubbish spilling out of what could otherwise be a suitable indoor bike storage point near the fire exit but outside of any natural pathway, and just a bit of a tidy up is all that is needed, is looked upon like I'd just suggested all staff be issued with company helicopters.
So it's either leave the good bike outside and cry when it goes walkies, ride a "pub bike" to work and walk home now and again, or have some dignity and buy a folder to keep by my desk
Any suggestions other than the reasonable looking Decathlon models? I would like something with a bit of a low gear as to take a detour can mean going by one of the steepest hills in Sheffield
